SPINCAR - Here is the new Gordon Murray Automotive T.33 Spider. It is an open top version of the T.33 Coupe and effectively the fourth model in GMA's ever-expanding lineup. So that will be limited to just 100 units worldwide, and buyers of this model will need to know how to operate the car with three pedals.

Where the Gordon Murray GMA T.33 Spider will be available with manual transmission only, Xtrac's 6-speed manual gearbox weighs just 82kg making it the lightest gearbox in a supercar.
Which is the demand for manual transmission on GMA cars was so high that they decided to offer the T.33 with this as the only option.

The engine is a naturally aspirated 3.9L V12 dry sump weighing just 178kg. Where in the power output section it reaches 671hp and 451nm of torque. Remember, this engine has an amazing redline capped at 11,100 rpm.

The new GMA T.33 Spider has two panels that can be removed, when removed the driver will enjoy an open air ride with the air duct hanging from the centerline.

The sound of the V12 can then be heard uninterruptedly, the rear having a fixed roof which provides extra rollover protection while highlighting the car's powerful design.

The interior features a simple but elegant 120mm cluster display, a carbon fiber steering wheel and raw carbon fiber seats. The pedals, shifters and switchgear are machined aluminum for an analog look.

Introduced on the T.33 Coupe, the Passive Boundary Layer Control (PBLC) system works together with the active rear spoiler to balance drag.

Drivers will enjoy high downforce and high speed stability with or without a roof. The body structure is made from Ultralight iStream carbon monocoque technology, which allows the T.33 Spider to weigh just 1,108kg dry which is 18kg heavier than the coupe.

A Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) braking system specially developed for the T.33 Spider, the front and rear feature 19″ and 20″ wheels respectively with 235/35 ZR19 and 295/30 ZR20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires.

However, pricing for the Gordon Murray T.33 Spider has yet to be announced.
